In this prospective observational cohort study, the association of malnutrition and complications in liver surgery was investigated. Twelve different commonly used nutritional assessment score were tested. None of the scores proofed to be an independent predictor of morbidity. Other methods should be investigated in future trials to assess the impact of nutritional status in liver surgery.

Co-inhibition targeting anti-angiogenesis and PD-1/PDL1 signaling shows potent antitumor efficacy in many solid tumors. This study preliminarily demonstrated that the therapeutic strategy with lenvatinib plus pembrolizumab is a promising and safe regimen from a single center cohort enrolled 32 patients with advanced biliary tract cancers.
